With the last days of summer sunshine we took up the chance of having a mini photo shoot with sweet little Ivy Rose.  This adorable poppit was certainly enjoying her attire and being in front of the camera - think we have a future model on our hands.

Introducing "Molly" to the family!

Now that Autumn is upon us and the days are getting shorter, and the nights are getting cooler, we are turning our attention from the summer warmth to the winter months ahead.

We've been working on our new easy to wear reversible clothing range, one of which is our gorgeous new tunic called "Molly" and we would like to introduce her to you today. Every little girl should have a "Molly" in her wardrobe.  This reversible tunic will be great for those cool Autumn days, and can be worn right through those chilly winter months with leggings and boots!

We have some gorgeous fabrics ready to make loads of Molly's over the coming weeks, so keep your eyes peeled on Etsy.

As always if you have any feedback or just want to say hi, check out of LittleLaneClothing Facebook page or email us on Littlelaneclothing@gmail.com - we love hearing from you!

Baby, it's cute right now!

With all the rain we've been having in Sydney today, its the perfect day for being indoors and planning our new range for Little Lane. We've listened to the feedback and we are happy to announce that our first batch of baby goodness is about to come your way on Etsy very soon. This range is oh so cute, even if we do say so ourselves.  Look out for butterfly's, birds and boats!

Just for your eyes only, here is a sneak peak of  a couple of these gorgeous onesies! I hope you love them as much as we do.

We're really excited about this year and expanding our range even more. If there is anything that you would like to see from our new range, we want to hear it, as all feedback is appreciated!

We'd love to see more little tots out there enjoying our Little Lane goodies this year.

Cross eyed

We are back in action for the new year working on new designs for winter (scary to think that we are in February already).

Keep an eye out soon for some gorgeous baby rompers in vibrant eye popping colours, the perfect items to brighten up your wee ones winter wardrobe.

Based on the amazing feedback we've had to date we are also going to look at extending our range to cover accessories, think cute girls headbands and funky reversible caps for boys.

Right now the latest and greatest item that is in production is a girls reversible tunic dress/top. This is one item that every little girl should have in their closet. Not only is it a tunic dress fit for a 3 year old but it will also see them through the next few years, as a tunic top when they are about 6.

First competition of the year......to start the new year off we thought we would open up the naming of this new tunic dress to our fellow followers! Not only will you have the privilege of seeing your name on our site but you will also score 20% off your next purchase! So get those ideas in (comment below or via Facebook)! Closing date is end of February 2013. Enter as many times as you like.

So get commenting!

Say hi to 'Wera'

We want to personally introduce 'Wera' and share with you what inspired us to create such a fun, brightly coloured versatile girl's dress.

'Wera' ready to wear

When we were growing up our Grandmothers were ever so crafty. If Mazzy's Nonna wasn't crocheting, she was knitting, making pasta or pottering in the garden while telling stories of how life was back in Italy. Her hands were always busy. Nicola's, Babcia, would share her stories of the motherland of Poland while she was busy sewing for all the family from her suitcase of patterns. If she couldn't be found behind the sewing machine, she would be in the kitchen whipping up Polish feasts, or tending to her garden in New Zealand.

So from an early age we were both inspired to create and make things that were individual, and that would last through the years, to pass onto the next generation.

'Wera' was inspired from one of Babcia’s vintage patterns from the 1970’s. We loved the simplicity and really wanted this pattern to be translated into the modern world. All of Babcia's grandchildren had worn this style dress, so we knew that it had tried and tested design. That's where we came onto the scene - our take on this classic was to make it reversible, and adjustable and we also gave the piece longevity. 'Wera' can also be worn as a tunic top as the child gets older and grows taller. So with one item we have created two dresses, and two tunic tops...now that's modern for you!

We hope you love 'Wera' as much as we do!

After a very successful launch yesterday it was nice to see that our Rupert pants made their way into the Etsy Treasury of JulieAnne!

Huge thank you to those of you who have purchased items to date, it means a lot to us!

Hmmm suppose that this means another sewing sesh this weekend to replace items that sold.

Hope you are all having a lovely day.
